Drugs and Alcohol

Lifestyle Hub

The Lifestyle Hub is a central point of contact to engage in a relaxed 30 minute consultation with a Lifestyle Advisor to discuss any changes you might like to make. These changes would primarily focus on healthy eating and getting more active. But, you can also get further information on stopping smoking, reducing alcohol, carers service and many other groups/services that run in Bedford. You are welcome to attend up to 4 appointments; on the phone / virtually or a choice of different venues from Monday to Saturday including some evenings.

  • Receive tailored advice
  • Discuss things that have worked for you in the past and things that maybe haven’t worked so well
  • You tell us about the changes you would like to make regarding food and/or activity
  • Make a plan to steadily create change that fits in with your life
  • Find out how much activity we should all be aiming for and how you can work towards this

We can only accept referrals for patients registered to a Bedford Borough GP Practice, this includes Self Referrals.
