
Marston Forest Healthcare is trialling a new way to improve access to appointments.
Following successful use in GP practices across the country, we are introducing Andi (Live on 04/03/26 from 10:00am), our new Virtual Care Navigator. When you select the appointments option on our phone system, Andi will ask you a series of clear questions about your symptoms and the type of help you need. Your responses will then be submitted securely to our Anima system in exactly the same way a member of our reception team would complete an online triage form.
Your information is safely transferred to our clinical team via Anima, where it is reviewed and triaged. This helps us ensure you are directed to the most appropriate clinician or service first time.
Why Are We Introducing Andi?
This trial aims to:
- Reduce long waits in phone queues
- Prioritise patients based on clinical need
- Improve continuity of care
- Make access fairer and more efficient
- Support patients who prefer to provide information over the phone rather than online
