Travel vaccination information

Planning a trip abroad? It is important to arrange a travel risk assessment at least 8 weeks before your departure date. This ensures you receive the necessary vaccinations, health advice, and preventive treatments specific to your destination.

NHS-funded travel vaccines

We only provide the following NHS funded travel vaccinations:

  • Hepatitis A
  • Typhoid
  • Tetanus, Polio & Diphtheria
  • Cholera

To receive these vaccines, you must complete and submit a travel risk assessment at least 8 weeks before your scheduled travel date.

Steps to follow

Complete the travel risk assessment form

This form must be filled out for each traveller above the age of 1 year, individually.

How to obtain the form

Review & appointment

  • The practice nurse will review your form.
  • If necessary, an appointment will be arranged for NHS-funded vaccines only.

Travelling in under 8 weeks?

If you are travelling in under 8 weeks, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

You can:

  • Request your full vaccination history from us.
  • Take this information to a private travel clinic for all necessary vaccinations.

We are not a travel clinic and do not provide private travel vaccinations. Please visit a private travel clinic for any additional vaccinations as required.
