We will be opening up Face to Face appointments at Sinfin Health Centre from Monday 23rd November 2020.
We appreciate it’s been challenging for some of our Sinfin patients to access face-to-face services in recent months. We’d like to thank you for your support and patience while we’ve worked to find the best way of making the building layout safe for you and our staff under Covid-secure working practices.
We’ve recently provided a flu clinic at Sinfin and plan to reintroduce face-to-face appointments at Sinfin Health Centre from November 2020.
Since April the centre has been staffed by clinicians and vulnerable staff who must isolate or shield, as the site layout means they could still safely work in separate areas, whereas it’s been difficult to make the centre suitable for patient use, given the guidance we must follow.
We will be operating a closed door policy, as we are at Hollybrook Medical Centre for the safety of our staff and patients. If you are booked in for a Face to Face appointment you will be asked to send a text message to our mobile number upon booking to confirm your arrival and ask that you wait near the front door at Sinfin where the clinician will come and collect you.
Please remember to bring a face covering to your appointment. Please do not attend the practice unless you have an appointment booked, can we ask that you continue to contact the surgery by telephone or via our practice website.
Until further notice the Prescription box for Sinfin patients will remain at BJ Wilsons, we are hoping to relocate the Prescription box to Sinfin Health Centre very soon.
