We are pleased to announce we are currently procuring a new telephone system which we hope will improve the experience for patients calling the surgery. We will share more detail on this next week once we have chosen the final provider. The new system will have a ‘queue busting’ function which will allow patients to choose to put the phone down and get a call back when they get to the first position in the queue, it will have improved live system and reporting data so we can have a better understanding of call volumes. The new system will be in place from the 1st June 2021 and we will be working closely with both our existing provider and new provider to ensure a smooth transition.
